Metropolis Apartment

Walker Interiors has designed several penthouse apartments for the Metropolis building, Level 35 being one that achieved several awards including the NZIA interior award.  The apartment also was also hired by Mick Jagger, and later he made a music video and performed from the space.

The concept for this apartment is clean open spaces and the use of honest hard wearing materials.  Over 300m2 of decks were created reminiscent of a supper yachts deck with dramatic sculptors. Meticulous attention to detail was a focus for example design of interior kitchen drawers, hifi system selected and its integration, hidden cellar and fittings.
